The aim of Idea Garage: Estonian Wellbeing is to encourage participants to propose and validate new ideas for Estonian wellbeing with the help of mentors in making the life of Estonians better.

In the first stage of the Idea Garage: Estonian Wellbeing 2017 organizers invited the social & medical sphere experts to Brainstorming Sessions all over Estonia (Narva, Tallinn, Tartu) to talk about the problematic areas of Estonian Social Welfare where innovation and newer solutions could help the services provided to a new level. All the problems and challenges that were most popular were marked down and analysed.

In the second stage of the Idea Garage: Estonian Wellbeing 2017 Garage48 invites participants & teams to join on the 8-9th of September for the Ideation Session held in Tallinn at SEB Innovation Center. Participants will work on generating potential solutions on chosen problems/topics. The main goal of these two days is paper-prototyping, the developing phase will happen after the event.

The main aim of Idea Garage: Estonian Wellbeing is to encourage participants to propose and validate new ideas with the help of mentors & experts and finding potential solutions for the development of Estonian welfare services.

The Idea Garage Estonian Wellbeing 2017 is meant for anyone, who feels passionate about improving the life quality in Estonia and isn’t afraid to tackle the subject, no matter the background. Specialists, experts, students, practitioners, scientists, entrepreneurs, visionaries as well as developers, engineers, project managers, marketeers, and designers – all are welcome.

Every group will prepare a presentation and a small pitch to introduce the outcomes of the work to all participants. The best ideas presented will receive prizes from the jury.

One idea from Idea Garage: Estonian Wellbeing 2017 hackathon will go straight through to Ajujaht’s Top 100 of season 11.
