The TOP 9 teams have been selected

On 3rd of November, nine of the best startups in Ajujaht were selected by the jury. The TOP 9 teams will continue the competitions to win 30 000 euros.

„The ongoing season of Ajujaht is certainly interesting for the viewers, as we can see several companies that develop so-called tangible products, which are exciting to watch on the TV. In addition, among the best there are also several social enterprises that try to improve our lives in areas like environment, healthy eating or learning,“ said Eve Peeterson, the Head of Startup Estonia

The TOP 9 teams of this season are: The Naturist, FitSphere, Justacart, Pickitwise, Myceen, Steelmonitor, Complok, Kõnekindlus and Filaret.

The teams’ performance will be assessed by a 5-member jury including Eve Peeterson (Head of Startup Estonia, which is part of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency), Mailiis Ploomann (Member of the Management Board at Elisa Estonia), Peeter Koppel (Private Banking Strategist at SEB Estonia), Ivo Remmelg (angel investor and Fund Manager at NestCap) and Tanel Erm (Head of Microsoft Development Center Estonia).

The jury evaluated team consistency, product or service developement, idea potential and the extent to which teams have heeded their mentors’ advice.
