Female Founders Meetup in Pärnu

8 Mar

Shout-out to all the current and future Female Founders: join us for the upcoming meetup in Pärnu!

Start your day off by co-working with us at the Pärnu Business Incubator in the morning, where complimentary coffee will be available for free. Feel free to schedule any upcoming meetings to be held there, as we will have smaller meeting rooms available for 1:1 meetings.

In the afternoon, starting at 15.00, we’ll be hosting a fireside chat, addressing the challenges women face in the tech industry, particularly during times of economic recession. In the past year, female founders only received 1% of all funding, so it’s more important than ever to come together and find ways to support each other.

The panel will be moderated by the amazing Triin Kask and our panelists are:

Triin Hertmann / Founder of Grünfin, Angel Investor
Karin Künnapas / CoDirector of kood/Jõhvi, Venture partner at Tera VC
Mari-Liis Kurg / CEO & founder of Complok

Following the discussion panel, we will have the opportunity to meet the exceptional female-led teams of the Challenger Diversity programme and hear their pitches.

After the formal proceedings of the event and the thought-provoking discussions, we will all head over to Estonia Resort SPA to unwind and enjoy some much-needed bonding time with our fellow founders in a relaxing setting. The spa is part of the package provided by the organizers.

Worried about transportation back? We’ve got you covered! Our hosts will provide buses that will take you back to Tallinn and Tartu for free after the event.

Agenda:
15:00 Panel Discussion
16:00 Pitching session: Challenger Diversity
16:45 Closing the official part of the Meetup
17:00 Relaxing and networking in the Estonia RESORT Spa
19:00 Dinner
20:30 Buses head back to Tallinn and Tartu
